​Nov. 2024,I added a cookbook to my offerings!

A veterinarian told us in mid March 2025 that "PEAS" can cause enlarged heart in young dogs. In doing further research I found that "a leading possible ingredient" causing enlarged heart in canines could be peas. 
THEREFORE, the very last recipe in this cookbook for Maggie's homemade dog food has been revised. I originally used the ingredients listed from Maggie's Blue Buffalo Senior Small Breed dry dog food and bought fresh ingredients to match. BUT the Blue Buffalo contains "Peas, Pea Starch, Natural Flavor, Pea Fiber", which in November 2024, I obviously did not know was a possible cause for Maggie's enlarged heart.  NOW I have eliminated peas from the original recipe for fresh dog food in the cookbook's 3rd Version, available as soon as the printer gives me the ok!
